Our in-store tastings are BACK BABY!! After a year and half of meeting through Zoom, we can now all meet up and share our love of all things boozy in person...and we are so, so, SO excited!! We have a full program of events coming up!!

Our in-store Tastings have various start times - on Thursdays they will start at 8pm, on Saturdays they will start at 4pm. The LIVE virtual tastings will continue and they will always start at 8pm unless specifically stated otherwise!

This week;

Is there anything more celebratory than fizzy wine? Short answer…no. But WHAT fizzy wizzy should you get this festive period? We have 3 absolute bangers to drop jaws and change lives…step away from the Prosexy and try something different and magnificent!!

No nationwide delivery obviously as these are IN PERSON/IN-STORE tastings only. We still delivery nationwide on our LIVE virtual tastings but this is not one of those tastings!

The 'portions' are 75ml per person unless stated otherwise, and almost always teamed up with a delicious food pairing. There will be lots of opportunity to buy more wine afterwards if you so please...

All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

- First off we have some Mar de Frades Sparkling Albarino. Like the Mar de Frades Godello, this was the first of its kind. The idea to create a sparkling wine that is fresh, aromatic and has the same signature salinity as its still wine counterparts. Complex, expressive Albariño, the seafood-loving white grape of Galicia in northern Spain; this is full of white fruit, with a faint aroma of toast and beautiful eucalyptus notes. The time on lees lends an elegant and fine mousse with some autolytic character on the finish
- Secondly, Champers darling…the Champagne Andre Roger Grande Reserve Grand Cru. The nose is very powerful, dominated by aromas of fruits in pastry, stewed apricot, with frank notes of sugared almond. Slight notes of pepper and aniseed. On the palate, the feeling is very ample and long, with remaining pastry feeling, ending on a spicy note.
- Finally we will be trying the Aussie cracker D’Arenberg ‘The Peppermint Paddock’ Sparkling Chambourcin. Vibrant purple sparkling wine from South Australia, a melding of ripe plum and black olive, with a whiff of cedar, another of mint and a third of Christmas spice.

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
