Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about! 

Our Friday and Saturday tastings start at 8pm :)

This week;

After the success of our first toe dip into Red Wine and charcuterie, we are coming back for another round!! 3 delicious robust reds, paired with delicious cured meats. Our pals at I.J. Mellis up in the 'Burgh and the Delicioso mob will be sorting us out with legendary meats. Expect some Jamon Iberico de Bellota, maybe some Biltong and maybe some Pate...whatever we end up with expect deliciousness!! 

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched meats (we can still pair with cheeses if you're veggie!) and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

- We are heading down to Suid Afrika, Elgin specifically for the Iona 'Solace' SyrahRed berry fruit, full of spice, white pepper and floral notes. Supple, intense palate with fine tannin matched by plenty of fruit.
- Next up the Smalltown Vineyards 'Clovella' Grenache/Mourvedre blend from the Barossa in South Australia. Soft, voluptuous and headily perfumed yet light on its feet and alarmingly more'ish. Only 300 cases ever possible from this tiny block each year!
- We finish on the Baglio Gibellina Nero D'Avola Passimiento from Sicily, Using the passimiento technique of allowing the grapes to partially dry on the vine before fermentation. An intense & bright red fruits aroms on the nose that compliments it's deep, rich palate of dark cherry, raisin and sweet spice.

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
