Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines....well Whisky this time, matched cheeses as always and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Our tastings start at 8pm :)

This week;

A few of us at G2G started our lives in the world of spirits and cocktails waaay back in the dark ages of the naughties...we still keep our hand in with our sister business The Liquorists, running cruises on the waterways of Mcr in simpler pre-COVID times, and online more recently. So this is a step back in time for us, but no less pleasurable for it!

We will be heading around the glorious Celtic nation of Scotland, with the help of an old friend of ours, Alec Morgan from Ian Macleod Whiskies tasting 6 drams of Uisge Beatha, Water of Life...Whisky. Burn's Night is a moment to celebrate the life of Rabbie Burns, the National Bard of Scotland, and whilst we cannot enjoy the full supper, we can pipe in the finest Whisky from Scotland and pair them with equally as incredible Scottish Cheese from our pals at I.J. Mellis in Edinburgh.

The Whiskies are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging Whisky and 2 pillocks hosting...or 2 pillocks and Jen...

The 'portions' are a bit different this time...go for either; a Dram (50ml of each Whisky) or a Demi (330ml of each whisky).

 All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

We will travel around the classic classification of Scottish Whisky production - Blended, Highland, Island, Islay and Speyside each paired with a Scottish cheese.

 - We start with a Whisky Hiball - Isle of Skye 8yo Blended Whisky and soda
 - Next up the Glengoyne 10yo Highland Malt
 - Over to Speyside we go next for a Tamdhu 12yo
 - Another Island malt next, the Isle of Arran 'The Bodega' Sherry Cask
 - Next up the Glengoyne Legacy Vol. 2
 - Finally an Islay malt finished in Rum Casks, the Smokehead Rum Rebel

Serious wines (well Whisky), for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
