Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Also now starting at 8pm!!! :)

This week;

This is going to be a real doozy! We are going deep on some powerful, spicy reds that will linger on the tongue and in the memory, paired with stinky ass cheese...If you like your cheese made backwards (Edam...? Hello? Is this thing on...?) this tasting isn't for you...ripe, tangy, runny, gooey, STINKY cheeses!!

PLUS...we will be running a mulling masterclass! We will mull a bottle of red wine with you guys at home, so when the tasting ends you can slurp some sweet, spiced wine!!

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook and Instagram LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

Without further ado...here are the wines for this week;

 - We start off with a juicy, JAMMY little number... the Seghesio Sonoma County Zinfandel! Ill be honest...this can't get any further up Tom's strasse (ooh err). 88% Zinfandel, with a, not insignificant, little lick of our old pal Petite Sirah...its lush and rich. The blackberry notes are lifted by a touch of raspberry acifidy!!
 - Next up is another winner from house fav Casa Rojo, the Alexander and The Ham Factory Ribeira del Duero. A blend of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) with some Cab Sav, Merlot and Malbec, it's aged for 18 months in oak barrels. A rich, carmine-red colour in the glass, it is intense and concentrated. Liquorice, toasted oak, cherry and dark fruit.
 - Finally...We finish on a seriously intense Argentinian gem, the Kaiken 'Ultra' Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet, with sometimes just a whiff of Argie superstar Malbec, from a biodynamically farmed 80-year old vineyard in Vistalba, this complex, full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas of red berries, tobacco and sweet spice.

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
