Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Our Friday and Saturday tastings start at 8pm :)

This week;

It's the return of the Friday Fizz Fest, and arguably in its purest form, the OG showdown...who does the best fizzy wizzy...Champagne vs Cava vs Prosecco! As always this is in Full Bottle format only as you cannot decant fizzy wine, all the more reason to splash out and enjoy 3 bottles of top drawer sparkles on a Friday night!

Champagne is, rightfully, lauded as the preeminent region for Sparkling wine, but with Champagne wine comes a Champagne price tag...and that can be...significant. Especially if you're drinking the good gear. But other wine producing regions make wine that is *arguably* just as good and comparatively an absolute bargain - lets put them head to head and see whether the juice is worth the squeeze!

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 2 pillocks and Jen...

The 'portions' for this one are simple...Full Bottle only as sparkles can't be decanted for obvious reasons.

All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

- First up we have the Raventós i Blanc, Blanc des Blancs Cava (ve)
- Second for the evening is a Prosecco Jim...but not as we know it! The 2019 VINTAGE

Giustino Bisol Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG (veg) by Ruggeri.
- Finally the Grand Réserve Grand Cru by Champagne André Roger!

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
