Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Also now starting at 8pm!!! :)

This week;

The eternal question...how much should i spend on a bottle of wine?!?! Now when it comes to gifts the answer to this question is always...it depends...it depends on WHETHER YOU WILL BE THERE WHEN IT'S OPENED!! We have the perfect gift guide..plus you can say you've tried it too ;)

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook and Instagram LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

Without further ado...here are the wines for this week...there are 4 levels;

Buying For Your Boss: Let's be honest...it'll be as cheap as it can be whilst not looking like a bag of spanners...but with a helping G2G hand you can come up smelling of roses! We have chosen the Brisa de Verano Garnacha Tinta from Spain - dark plum and bramble fruit with hints of peppery spice.
Buying For Your In-Laws: Needs to be classy, not too flashy or they might think you're a spiv, now crucially you have to want to drink it if the Father in Law cracks it over Chrimbo lunch...we have chosen the Alpha Box & Dice Enigma, a cheeky Barbera from down under!
Buying For Your Partner: The acid test...let this be the mark of true love...if you buy your loved one sh*t wine, you answer the question of whether you're Ride-Or-Die...you're probably as selfish in bed as you are with your wine choices. Be the world's greatest lover with the Ca dei Frati 'Ronchedone' from Italy. Ripe blueberries, freshly-made jam, a touch of balsam and some herbal notes.
Buying For Yourself: Forget all that boll*cks...open it on one of those weird days between Christmas and New Years and share it with NO ONE!! Orin Swift '8 Years in the Desert' Zinfandel. Blueberry and sweet black cherry along with touch of fresh herbs—thyme, savory and tarragon

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
