We have been insanely lucky to have been joined by wine making Royalty over the last 9 or 10 months on our LIVE Tastings. Whether it was the gorgeous Jody Bogle, the elegance of Marilisa Allegrini, the fantastic Elena from Dandelion or mr juicy/fruity Andrea Pieropan we have learned so much from the folk who ACTUALLY make the wines we love. Well its now 2021, but we know this will just carry on and on.
This month... Gallina de Piel. Gallina de Piel is an exciting winemaking project from David Seijas, the former Head Sommelier at three-Michelin-starred restaurant El Bulli. David’s aim is to create versatile wines from Spain’s gastronomic northern regions: Catalonia, Aragon and Galicia. He works with local growers, selecting the best vineyards and indigenous grape varieties to create wines with an emphasis on elegance and freshness.
The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 2 pillocks and Jen...
The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.
All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!
We will be trying the whole range from this super cool, young wine maker from Spain. Expect grape varietals like Garnacha, Xarel-lo, Carignan, Albarino and Treixadura from all over Spain.
Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
