Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Also now starting at 8pm!!! :)

This week;

People have their own ideas of what to drink and when on Christmas Day! This is our ideal scenario...we are pretty sure you'll love it too!! We have got everything covered from breakfast through to after lunch...lie back, relax and think of...watching Zulu for just over 17 minutes before falling asleep...

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook and Instagram LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

Without further ado...here are the wines for this week;

 - We start off with a staple in the Sneesbo household...Fresh Peach Bellinis paired with stocking/selection box chocolate. Each of you will get a small 20cl bottle of prosecco (Full 75cl Bottle if you're a baller) with some peach puree...chill, combine, drink 2 litres of it before 11am...perfect
 - Next up is a livener...Northern Italian legends Allegrini have a gem for us, the Allegrini ‘Oasi Mantellina’ Lugana is another beaut from the guys that brought you Palazzo della Torre! We will be pairing it with smoked salmon, blinis and dill craime fraiche! Graceful, well-defined, taut and flavoursome with floral notes mixed with hints of almond.
 - Third up is the glorious centrepiece...we are rocking the most Christmassy wine ever...Famille Perrin ‘Les Sinards’ Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Southern Rhone valley. A GSM (Grenach/Syrah/Mourvedre) blend, heavy on the Grenache...intense spicy red and black fruits, chocolate and black pepper. Paired with something better than Turkey which is of course rubbish.
 - Finally...We finish with Port and Stilton!! The most memory making part of Christmas is that so much of what we do is limited almost exclusively to that super short window of acceptability...be honest...would you reach fo the Port at any other time of the year. No...well this Sandeman 20-Year-Old Tawny Port will change that habit! Paired with Stilton, duh! Match made in heaven!!

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
