Here we go again ladies and gents, the Grape to Grain LIVE tastings continue apace!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! Tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Our Thursday, Friday and Saturday tastings start at 8pm :)

This week;

As an antidote to a winter full of big boi reds, and with the days getting longer, warmer and generally more summertimey we are going to smash some zippy, livley, energetic white wines. Mouth watering licks of fruity, citrussy bangers. We are heading all over, We have to have a Savvy B on this tasting, but Touraine in the Loire will be our first drip. Ater that a Pinot Grigio...now a lot of Grigio deserves it's bad rep, but this one shows what the grape can do. We finish in Austria...cool climate makes the zippiest whites, and Austria also makes the zippiest of zippy bois since that lad off Rainbow...Gruner Veltliner!!

The cheeses will be perfectly matched to these uplifting wines - either gentle and subtle, or creamy and mouth coating.

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook LIVE and of course on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 2 pillocks and Jen...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

- First up is the Lionel Gosseaume 'Climate No 1' Touraine-Oisly (veg). Fresh yet complex white from the Loire, breathy with spring flowers and fresh mint, with snappy flavours of capsicum and pea.
- Next we head to Alto-Adige in Northern Italy for the Colterenzio Pinot Grigio (ve). Lightly floral bouquet and an unusually rich, concentrated mouth, all pineapple and ripe melon with a whiff of herbs.
- Finally to Austria for the Pfaffl 'Zeisen' Grüner Veltliner (ve).  It's all about spice, pepper, and crisp refreshing fruit. Bright sparkling yellow with green hints, beautiful and charming fragrance of black pepper, citrus and herbs. Juicy and crisp on the palate with a spicy finish. A superb example of how refreshing yet complex Gruner Veltliner can be.

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
