Our in-store tastings are BACK BABY!! After a year and half of meeting through Zoom, we can now all meet up and share our love of all things boozy in person...and we are so, so, SO excited!! We have a full program of events coming up!!
Our in-store Tastings have various start times - on Thursdays they will start in both stores at 8pm. On Saturdays they will start in Rammy at 2pm and in Prestwich at 4pm. The LIVE virtual tastings will continue and they will always start at 8pm unless specifically stated otherwise!
The weather has FINALLY sorted it’s life out…I mean it only took until the END OF BLOODY MAY, but still…We now want to go drinking outside but WHAT SHALL WE TAKE WITH US TO THE BEACH/PARK/HILL SIDE/WOODS????
G2G have you covered guys - we got all the essential supplies (booze) and some amazing little deli bits you can take with you to make the perfect Pic Nic vibe wherever you are!! We’ve even got the tote bags for you to take everything with you at the weekend!!
No nationwide delivery obviously as these are IN PERSON/IN-STORE tastings only. We still delivery nationwide on our LIVE virtual tastings but this is not one of those tastings!
The 'portions' are 75ml per person unless stated otherwise, and almost always teamed up with a delicious food pairing. There will be lots of opportunity to buy more wine afterwards if you so please...
All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!
- First up is Bole Spumante Brut Romagna. Lively sparkling wine from Emilia-Romagna, brimming with green apples, Conference pears and lemon zest, the nose a delightful blend of jasmine blossom, elderflower and citrus.
- Next we are trying a can of the Didsbury Gin Tutti Frutti Gin Fizz. I mean come on…is there a better outdoor drinking vibe then fruity delicious gin, in a recyclable container. Don’t even need a glass if you’re on the beach…winner.
-Third up we have the Tabula Racer White #V18W. All four varieties that make up #V18W comes from the same, single vineyard close to the winery in Adelaide Hills. Sauvignon and Semillon give aromas of quince, preserved lemon and barley lead through to a zesty palate of citrus, elderflower, stone fruits and almond.
- Finally the Molino a Vento Nerello Mascalese. Lighter-bodied Sicilian red, herbaceous, slightly spicy, with aromas of cinnamon and pepper and flavours of wild berry. Serve Chilled for the time of your life!!
Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
