Our in-store tastings are BACK BABY!! After a year and half of meeting through Zoom, we can now all meet up and share our love of all things boozy in person...and we are so, so, SO excited!! We have a full program of events coming up!!

Our in-store Tastings have various start times - on Thursdays they will start in both stores at 8pm. On Saturdays they will start in Rammy at 2pm and in Prestwich at 4pm. The LIVE virtual tastings will continue and they will always start at 8pm unless specifically stated otherwise!

This week, we have: First day of Autumn.

Autumn... Yeah that old chestnut.

It has to come around each year, right? So why not find a reason to embrace & celebrate the changing of the seasons. It’s an exciting time in the Wine Industry as harvest begins and we at Grape to Grain get to focus on some different wine styles to match the changing weather.

So get your best coat & boots on Ladies & Gents and come sip some textured white wine & classic Autumn reds, from places you’d rather be. With each glass, we can take you there, are you ready for the journey?

Come fly with us!

No nationwide delivery obviously as these are IN PERSON/IN-STORE tastings only. We still delivery nationwide on our LIVE virtual tastings but this is not one of those tastings!

The 'portions' are 75ml per person unless stated otherwise, and almost always teamed up with a delicious food pairing. There will be lots of opportunity to buy more wine afterwards if you so please...

All these are subject to change...but...here's the lineup!

- First up, we will start you off with a glass of Domaine Klur ‘La Reine’ Pinot Gris;  Picture yourself in Alsace, one of the driest regions in France, the sun may be low, but it’s still glowing through the combination of red, orange and yellow leaves that decorate this beautiful region. An elegant & flowery nose, with hints of Acacia & exotic lime. A smooth & fresh palate, with a sweet, fruit finish.

- Secondly a glass of Cartlidge & Brown Pinot Noir; “All the leaves are brown, & the sky is grey”… I think you know where we’re at.. This classic Californian Pinot Noir, spends 10 months in both French & American Oak, adding toasty notes to bold Cherries, Raspberries & Blackberries with Vanilla Meringue. This wine is warming on the tongue, with baking spice & a juicy, firm finish.

- Finally we will be trying a glass of Raats Family ‘Dolomite’ Cabernet Franc’; Why not finish in stunning Stellenbosch, South Africa? These grapes are grown on decomposed Dolomite Granite soils, and the wine spends 14 months in French Oak, giving a rich red wine with dark & red cherry flavours, with added herbs & spiciness that linger on the palate.

“Wat se jy my Broer?” We’ll see you there!

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...should be an absolute spanker!!
