The 'Generations' Riesling was harvested from the Pauly family's steeply sloping vineyard in Lieser. Fresh hay aromas mingle with citrus and stone fruits and the slight sweetness and high acidity are perfectly balanced.
This wine is bright yellow with youthful reflections. On the nose, the scent of fresh hay mingles with ripe citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate, the wine is tangy, with ripe fruit flavours and a hint of minerality. The slight sweetness and the high acidity are perfectly balanced.
Fermentation with natural yeasts lasted for three weeks at approximately 15°C. The wine matured on fine lees for four to five months. 'Generations' is classified 'Feinherb', an off-dry style of wine achieved by stopping the fermentation, leaving some residual sugar in the final wine.
