This 32 hectare property is situated on the ancient road between Cantenac and Margaux itself. The lovely chateau is surrounded by and old stone wall, which contains soil unique in Margaux and as a result the wines are atypical for the appellation, being more tannic and full bodied than usual. Age of vines: 22 years.
A sweet, understated Bordeaux from Margaux in the Médoc, this is stylish and gentle, full of cassis and spring flowers.
The grapes are all hand picked and then carefully sorted before crushing. A very strict selection is made before blending and the wine is traditionally aged in oak barrels before bottling. Barrel Maturation: 18 months.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
