Coming from a single block of fruit in the Casablanca Valley, the Pinot Noir grapes benefit from alluvial soils, a long ripening season and optimum diurnal temperature variatio. There grapes are fragile so there is lots of gentle pumping over help to avoid bad tannis. The wine is aged for 3 months in french oak. Smokey raspberry and red cherry fruit lifts effortlessly out of the glass. The palate is rich yet delicate with plenty of crunchy red berry fruits and a supple finish. This is a wine which has plenty of hand crafted charm.
