Fragrant, elegant Portuguese white, creamy in the mouth and full of apricots, with a lovely waft of rosemary on the nose.
Grapes come from one vineyard site planted at an altitude of 220m above sea level surrounded by lakes. Following a sustainable approach in the vineyards, the 17 year old vines are typically trained in the Bilateral Cordon method, with 2222 vines planted per hectare on a combination of granite and schist with clay loam soil. Drip feed irrigation is used in dryer months to prevent draught. Yields average around 40 hl/ha. Grapes are hand harvested during the day in September.
A complex wine for fish, seafood, duck and feathered game or vegetarian dishes.
