Who/What/How:
- Jericho Wines is family-run vineyard. Father and son, (Neil and Andrew), manage the winemaking and boast 50 years of experience between the two of them. Kim designs the labels. Sally and Kaye handle the business side. They have all combined to produce a number of stunning, forward-thinking wines that feel quintessentially Australian, but also new and exciting.
Taste:
- The wine shows some signs of oak ageing, but it is careful and measured. This is all to preserve the pure, fresh fruit aromas, amongst the structured and elegant tannins. Delicate notes of violet, black pepper and liquorice mix with flavours of blackberry, damson, red plum and blackcurrant.
