The Abtsberg is the most famous and steepest vineyard of the estate. The soil is composed of blue Devonian slate. On the nose, this wine is dominated by aromas of ripe apples, quince and fresh lemon. The finely structured minerality and acidity are well balanced, resulting in a mouth-watering and long finish. This wine has fantastic ageing potential.
