Also now starting at 8pm!!! :)

This week;

Fresh off the success and excitement over our first Meet the Maker, we are going hard with another MASSIVE tasting...Venetian powerhouse and phenom Pieropan!!! We will be linking up LIVE with, hopefully, a member of the family from Veneto!!!

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook and Instagram LIVE and back on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

Without further are the wines for this week;

 - We are starting off with the Soave Classico. 85% Garganega and 15% Trebbiano di Soave. A fresh and expressive Soave, with classic white flower and almond blossom perfumes with a citrus lift.
 - Next up is, arguably, the best Italian white we have had...the 'La Rocca' Soave Classico...a wine which shook everything up...100% Garganega given the white Burgundy treatment much t everyone's amazement. A table wine is the furthest thing from this beauty.
 - Third is an instant smash hit the 'Ruberpan' Valpolicella SuperioreBrilliant ruby red in colour, this wine has a bouquet full of typical cherry and strawberry fruit. The palate continues with complex layers of beautiful fruit notes and finishes with a spicy character
 - Finally...We finish on a big, BIG wine - The OG-real deal...'Vigna Garzon' Amarone della Valpolicella Classico!! Brilliant and intense ruby red in colour, this is a wine with a heady perfume of black cherries and red summer fruits with notes of pepper and sweet spice. On the palate it is complex and rounded, with a powerful structure supporting the fruit and a lovely freshness on the finish. A wine with plenty of character

 Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
