  • Regular price £15.00

Here we go again ladies and gents, the Saturday LIVE tastings are now on Fridays too!!! Tom and Baz...and sometimes Jen come to you LIVE....from Prestwich!! 3 tremendous wines, matched cheeses and a whole load of fun..In In is the new Out Out...Until we can be In whilst Out...shakin' it all about!

Also now starting at 8pm!!! :)

This week;

Time to take a deeper delve into a varied and complex wine producing nation, Spain!! As different in style as dry Manzanilla Sherry from Jerez, or powerful bush vine Garnacha from the Ribiera del Duero, from salty Albarinos from Galicia to Spicy, Oaky Riojas. We are steering clear of the big names, and trying some grapes and appellations you might not have had the chance to try before!

The wines are delivered to your door, with matched cheeses and we then taste it together online, we will be live streaming on Facebook and Instagram LIVE and back on Zoom too!! Banging wines and 2 pillocks hosting...or 1 pillock and Barry...

The 'portions' are 100ml 'Tasters' and 500ml 'Carafes' or the imperious 'Full Bottle'. Pick the right size for you, your budget and how many guests you have.

Without further ado...here are the wines for this week;

 - First up a Verdejo from Rueda, the 'El Gordo (Del Circo)' by Casa Rojo. Aged 'Sobra Lias' the nose shows pear, apple, tropical nuances and fresh herbs, wide and intense on the palate with a spicy richness from this lees.
 - Next up is a velvety 'Sericis' Bobal from just outside Valencia in Eastern Spain - forest fruit together with notes of toffee and vanilla. Blackberry and plum characters and a touch of mocha on the long finish
 - We have to finish with big intense red - The Juan Gil Silver Label Monstrell from Jumilla. We LOVED their Muscat to death, the Silver label Monstrell is a warm, elegant red, brimming with ripe currants and crème de cassis, the nose a fine blend of smoke and spice

Serious wines, for (not very) serious folk...Should be an absolute spanker!!
