- Château Mercian have carefully selected vineyard sites in the Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures. The former is home to indigenous Japanese grape varieties, whereas the latter looks to cultivate international varieties.
Taste:
- Château Mercian Rivalis Left Bank Chardonnay is grown on the left bank of the Chikuma river. The clay rich soil and altitude of the vines help to produce a rich, yet mellow experience with a deep flavour concentration. You'll experience flavours of ripe pineapple, mango, orange and lemon, as well as elegant and subtle flavours of vanilla and almond in a long, luscious finish.
