The grapes for the Heritage Chardonnay were carefully chosen from cool, fog-influenced vineyards sustainably farmed along the California Coast.
This wine displays notes of orange blossom, pear and melon with herbaceous undertones. Immediately enjoyable, this wine is delightfully balanced with bright acidity and softness on the palate.
The team at De Loach practise sustainable viticulture and have a light touch in the winery to ensure the wine stays true to its origin. The must was fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks to retain fresh fruit flavours in the wine. The winemakers then blended in a small amount of barrel-fermented Chardonnay in order to add some complexity and richness.
