Who/What/How:
-
The Tribaut-Schloesser Champagne House was established in 1929 by René Schloesser and Lucie Coutelas. It began as a small operation. Around 1000 bottles were produced anually and René would cycle the bottled Champagne to the local station where they were sent on and sold in Paris. Now, the fourth generation of the family keep it alive, on a much larger scale.
Taste:
- The Champagne Tribaut Brut Rose NV has an enticing pale pink colour and delicate bubbles which pop to reveal aromas of red berries and citrus fruit. This comes along with touches of toast from 24 months of lees ageing.
